Job: FPGA Verification Engineers

EXB Solutions is currently hiring FPGA Verification Engineers to support verification activities on new, custom avionics for military and civil aircraft. You’ll work within a DO-254 framework to verify advanced systems like high-speed networking, edge computing, data recorders, and audio controllers—no legacy code, no migration of old code. Collaborate with a talented team to develop simulations, testbenches, and documentation, while contributing to design influence and shaping next-generation aviation systems.
Due to the classified nature of the project all applicants must be US Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance. This role will require work onsite in Grand Rapids, MI OR Schenectady, NY OR Plymouth, MN.
The qualified candidate will be working with a seasoned group of engineers and possess the following skill sets:
Required Skills:
- Security Clearance (work will be completed in SCIF)
- System Verilog, UVMF
- Xilinx toolset
- Microchip toolset
- Ethernet
- Network protocols
- Test bench development.
- Simulation, debug, and root cause skills.
- Familiar with FPGA design flow
- Versed in industry standard simulation environment.
- Familiar with DO-254 DAL-A verification methodologies
- Must be self-motivated and have initiative to reach out an interact with the existing team
- Individual that has working knowledge of digital systems, and components, FPGA design methodologies, testing, debugging, root causing and testing methodologies.
