This role is onsite in Northridge, CA
As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will architect our next gen systems and products for diabetes therapy using a combination of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, Simulation, and System Analysis and Empirical Modeling. In this role, you will:
- Develop EOFlow and Common Core system and product behavior models (use cases, activities, interactions, state machines), interface models, and data models using SysML and Enterprise Architect (EA)
- Develop EOFlow and Common Core system and product requirements using PTC Integrity or Polarion
- Develop report generation template scripts for EA, PTC Integrity, and/or Polarion
- Develop EOFlow and Common Core system and product security models using EA
- Estimate and plan execution of assigned work
- Manage task workflow management using Jira
- Provide regular updates on status and progress of assigned work
- Conduct detailed reviews of in-work and completed work
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Scientific discipline and 5+ years of professional technical engineering experience
- Knowledge of system and software engineering architecture principles, concepts, and best practices
- Experience in coordinating technology designs with architectural requirements and constraints
- Demonstrated experience generating technical documentation such as requirements, specifications, engineering reports, plans & procedures
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in product development
- Experience in embedded devices design, development, verification, and documentation
- Experience with development in a regulated industry such as medical device, defense, or automotive
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Enterprise Architect or MagicDraw
- Experience with simulation tools such as Simulink and Stateflow
- Experience with empirical modeling and systems analysis
- Experience with software development
- Experience with Agile concepts and application
