Job: Senior Verification and Validation Engineer

EXB Solutions (a Quest Global Company) is currently seeking a seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Engineer to join our team supporting as a Senior Verification and Validation Engineer.
This role is remote and does require 10% travel. Due to the nature of this work, all candidates must be US Citizens.
As our Senior V&V Software Engineer team member, you may be handling:
- Develop and review requirements-based test plans
- Develop, review, and execute automated test scripts on a simulated test environment
- Execute manual system tests on a full-hardware system test bench
- Provide documentation of assigned task status/progress
- Follow aviation standards (DO-178) in verifying the design and implementation of avionics software
- Interact with engineering customers to understand and realize new opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in System or Software level Verification & Validation
- BS/B.Tech in Electrical/Software/Mechanical/Computer Science engineering
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work under time constraints, maintain composure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to interact with employees/managers at all levels with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a customer facing, hands-on, team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with the following is a plus:
- Software change management systems such as IBM Rational DOORS, DOORS Next Gen or Synergy
- Familiarity with safety critical C code
- IBM RTC (Rational Team Concert) and RQM (Rational Quality Manager)
- DO178C verification and validation standards
- Hardware in the loop testing
- Perl script development
- US Citizen required.
