Job: Software Displays Engineer

EXB Solutions (a Quest Defense Systems and Solutions company) is growing and looking to add a Software Displays Engineers to join our team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Next Generation Avionics Displays. As our Software Displays Engineer team member responsible for designing and developing Display Platform software that is required to support platform configurability and scalability.
This role is onsite near Phoenix, AZ and due to the nature of the project all applicants must be US Citizens or hold a Green Card.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Avionics Displays Experience including SW architecture design and embedded C++ coding experience
- 5+ years of OpenGL ES or equivalent graphics API programming experience (i.e. Metal, DirectX, Vulkan).
- Understanding of DO-178C within Avionics software development lifecycle
- Object oriented development experience
- Firmware & driver development experience
- Multithreading/Multicore processing
- Touch & gesture development experience
- Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements.
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.

Starting salary: $115k. The starting salary is an estimate for this position. Actual pay may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to relevant experience, certifications, competencies that align to the specified role, and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
