Job Overview:
This is for a software engineer executing tasks on DO178 or other regulated aerospace engagements.

Job Requirements:
• Significant Avionics Flight Management System (FMS) or Flight Controls (FCC, FBW) software experience
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related math or scientific discipline
• Experience with high-order programming languages (C, Ada, C++, Matlab/Simulink, etc.)
• Experience with object oriented language (C++, C#, Python, etc.) and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem resolution, resolution and dispositioning skills
• Embedded software experience
• Knowledge of DO-178 Development Standards
• Verified, positive history with Rockwell, Honeywell, Garmin or other aerospace company

Preferred Experience:

• Strong background in development tools: Vectorcast, Doors, Clearquest, Rhapsody, Jira, Lava Lua
• Experience working is an Agile SAFE software development
• History working on 777x, Bombardier C-series, Challenger, Global, MRJ Mitsubishi regional jet, EBJ jet. C-130, C-295, KC-390 or other advanced aircraft.

Activities include:
• Requirement development, analysis and tracing
• Model-based design and documentation
• Software development, test design, test execution and documentation.
• Agile execution on large, complicated projects using agile work products, execution tracking, quality monitoring and review processes.
