Job Overview:
EXB Solutions is working with a client to develop an advanced airborne weapons and tactics training system.

As a software engineer – the focus will be on white box testing of our customer’s Java-based solution using Python to create advanced scripts for 3rd party automated testing tools and framework – SQUISH and Twisted. A successful engineer will be a strong trouble-shooter with complex processes and 3rd party tools. Additionally, this engagement will require mentoring less-experienced engineers – experience bringing others up-to-speed and identifying ways to help others learn processes will add value to this team.

• Verification and validation of embedded systems REQUIRED
• Test plan support
• Test case development and support
• Test procedure development
• Functional Test Script development
• 3rd party tools integration
• Systems, High-Level, and Low-Level testing
• Java familiarity (see preferred for specific frameworks)
• Agile/SCRUM experience
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills – must be able to communicate needs and recommended actions to solve complex problems
• Strong team player who can perform as an individual contributor when needed and mentor less-experienced engineers when appropriate

• Broad exposure to software tools, operating systems, and languages is helpful
• Experience with metrics and measuring efficiency and quality
• Experience with FACE conformity is a plus
• OSGi experience
• Java SWT experience
