Many of the programs supported by EXB provide modernization of embedded and enterprise-class hardware and software systems needed to support a critical mission. EXB is skilled in the use of commercial off-the-shelf technologies and trusted federal policies.
This includes software development, verification, execution and documentation. In the last two decades, we have supported management of test lab environments including configuration management, bug tracking, test management (test procedure development and execution, and test automation). We have developed documentation of new local operating procedures (LOPs) to support new processes as well as updating/optimizing existing LOPs where necessary. We have also designed software and worked on Model-Based Software Development (MBSD).
Our 170+ systems and software engineers have a broad capability as a result of working on many varied programs. We offer proven expertise in Aerospace and Defense, and Medical Technology markets.
As a subcontractor on the NASA Space Network Ground Segment Sustainment (SGSS) program, over 50 of EXB’s engineers developed and supported systems and software for global space-to-ground telecommunications and tracking coverage for low Earth orbit and near-Earth portions of the Space Network (SN). They also simultaneously maintained operations and minimized interruptions in service.
Baxter had an extremely aggressive timeline, in order to achieve FDA submission for their Class III PRISMAFLEX System product revision. This project required a full life cycle effort of design, code, and verification & validation. EXB brought in a team of mixed-level engineers, including experienced technical leaders and program management oversight. EXB took ownership of all Pre-Run and Dry-Run Execution and Formal Test Execution activities. EXB supported Baxter throughout all project phases, including preparation of FDA submission material. With EXB’s help, Baxter successfully completed their formal V&V one week ahead of schedule.
